The Historic GeorgeTown Club Foundation (HGTCF)

The Historic GeorgeTown Club Foundation (HGTCF) is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to support preservation of the Historic GeorgeTown Club’s (Club) suite of historic buildings and preservation initiatives in the community of which the Club is a part.  It also fosters cultural and public affairs programming that benefits the Georgetown community and, more broadly, the District of Columbia.  It currently accepts donations from members of the Club to accomplish its goals. 

Who runs the Foundation?
The Foundation is led by an independent board of directors that includes the following officers and members: 

  • Carlos Ortiz Miranda (President)
  • Susan Beimler (Secretary)
  • Gregory McCaffery (Treasurer)
  • James Marinucci
  • Darcy Nauman  
How can I support the Foundation?

Who is eligible for a grant from the foundation?
The HGTCF will accept proposals that meet the goals of the Foundation’s mission: To support the preservation of historic Georgetown structures and fostering cultural and public programming that benefits the community of Georgetown and, more broadly, the District of Columbia.  Submitted proposals for projects must fit under the grant categories of either (1) historic preservation of buildings or (2) cultural and community programming, and must contain sufficient information for the review process to ensure the elements of the grant period as stated below.
