Mission Statement

The GeorgeTown Club is dedicated to being Washington’s premier in-town private social club.

The Club provides its members, their families, guests, and business associates –  
• A distinctive ambiance derived from its location in a suite of historic buildings in Georgetown’s Book Hill neighborhood, and attractive, comfortable interior spaces that balance traditional and contemporary design;
• Exceptional, creative food and beverage services that “set the standard” for private club dining and entertaining in Washington.   

To achieve its unique mission objectives, the Club –   
• Ensures that all members and staff adhere to exemplary standards of conduct, including appropriate dress and behavior, so that all members of the Club’s diverse but exclusive community are always afforded a warm, satisfying, and respectful private club experience; and
• Is committed to the highest professional standards in recruiting, developing, and retaining a knowledgeable and experienced services team to support the full range of members’ social and business engagements at the Club.
